Mothering Sunday for us this year was very poignant as this is the first time that we have not been able to celebrate in our Mother Church, having sold the building. However, we did celebrate in style in our current place of worship. As usual we had the brightness of the daffodils to add a ray of sunshine to our service; and we then took that sunshine home with the lovely tete-a-tete variety in colourful pots. We felt blessed.
